I said the other day when I first saw on Buzzfeed a beginning list of names of both Israelis and Palestinians that I was reminded of my friend John Siddique's poems 'Names" and 'One Hundred' and that he could not recite the latter in UK because it was treason.
War is so heartbreaking, and I've made myself look at the pictures of death and destruction because to bear witness is to recognize the humanity we all share.
